PAIN!!!!!
So Tuesday night, I'm stretching my arm behind my back when there's the sudden sensation of a very large muscle SHIFTING on it's own and I'm in so much pain I can barely stand. Well, after a hot shower the pain had lessened to a tolerable level and I went to bed as normal. (Not before doing a bit of stretching to loosen things up) Hell, I've pulled muscles before and this method has always worked. Sometimes, I'm still a little stiff, but I'm always better off the next day. This was not to be the case this time around. As usual I woke up to the blare of my first alarm clock. (Hai, I have two alarm clocks. One to wake me up and the other to make sure ""just 5 more minutes" is just that. -_-) As I shot up to turn it off a horrid pain ripped through my back. And just as quickly as I got up I went back down, breathing heavily. My back hadn't hurt that badly since my accident! No sooner had the pain receded my second alarm went off. This time I tried to just hit it from a laying position and was greeted with the same pain! After rolling out of bed, I found I was in too much pain to even stand all the way up! Despite this, I left my room to find my sister and have her write a note for our mother. There was no way I was going to school. After she helped me back into bed, I lay there awaiting my mom. As I thought, she ignored the note and yelled at me first, thinking I'd overslept. Once we cleared that up, she checked me out and found that the largest muscle in my back had knotted up. This of course being the one that's connected all the way up and down your back. My dad says it's the second largest muscle in the human body. Peachy. Well anyway, mom brought in her hotpad and got me comfortable and that was pretty much how I spent my entire wednesday. The damn thing still hurts today, but at least I'm mobile.
